About the session

Though there could be significant economic and social benefits from the Internet of Things (IoT), there are many obstacles to be overcome - not just technical but economic, organisational and regulatory. Many of these obstacles reflect real concerns and issues that have to be dealt with to ensure the IoT will not be a nightmare of lost privacy and control. This presentation explores these issues and suggests a roadmap for progress.
